A spectacular fireworks display will be featured at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center on the Fourth of July beginning at 9 p.m. Sponsored in part by SD Local, a group of five radio stations, the Chula Vista 4thFest fireworks display will be celebrated with special simultaneous music on the radio. Find your perfect spot to watch the fireworks and tune in to one of these participating stations: 91X, Magic 92.5, and Z90.3.
The event is free, open to the public, and all ages. No glass bottles or charcoal grills are allowed at Mountain Hawk Park. Fern Street Circus will be providing free shows and kids activities at the park. Firework display begins at 9 p.m.
Free parking at New Hope Church, 2720 Olympic Parkway. See map for parking details.
Blankets, chairs, large umbrellas, canopies and EZ-Ups are welcome. No charcoal grills allowed. Although it is warm during the day, it does get cold when the sun goes down and the wind picks up. Bring warm layers for bundling up.
Drones are not allowed over the CVEATC on July 4th. It’s dangerous to fly above crowds and it’s definitely not safe to fly a drone into the fireworks display.
