Gear up and run or walk a route that winds down a 10% to 16% grade through hard rock cliffs to the floor of an operational quarry…then hump it up to the top of the hill and back to the finish line. If you are up for the challenge, prepare yourself for magnificent landscapes – rarely open to the public – where you will experience breathtaking views of San Diego County.
The Quarry Crusher Run at the Vulcan Materials Company Chula Vista Quarry offers two race categories:
• Crusher (~3.1 miles, $40 registration fee)
• Double Crusher (~6.2 miles, $50 registration fee)
Registration for the race is now available online at www.quarrycrusherrun.com. All proceeds benefit the Chula Vista Firefighter's Foundation!
Event Activities:
• ~3.1 mile or ~6.2 mile run / walk
• Live DJ
• Live band
• Core hole
• Food truck/smoothie truck
• Sand pile treasure hunt for the kids

Event Schedule: (times are approximate)
Friday 11/2: 12PM – 6PM – Packet Pick Up at TBD
Saturday 11/3: 6:30 AM – Packet Pick Up at Vulcan’s Chula Vista Quarry (2275 Hard Rock Road, Chula Vista)
Saturday 11/3: 8:00 AM – Race starts and we stay until the last runner/walker crosses the finish line!
