FREE Community Art Event on the Bayfront last weekend in September.
The 1st annual South Bay Maritime Art Show will be held at the Chula Vista Marina Park and Mariners Room on September 29 & 30 in conjunction with the South Bay Harbor Days. South Bayfront Artists welcomes all art lovers to stroll the lovely outdoor marina setting while enjoying an intriguing variety of fine art originals such as paintings, sculpture, jewelry, photography and mixed media—all produced by local artists.
A special aspect of this year’s show will be a juried competition composed of nautically-themed pieces—from ships to sea creatures and everything in between! Mark your calendars and note that hours on both Saturday and Sunday are 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Many of the items will be available for purchase, just in time for the holidays.
