Controversial since the time of its release, this wonderfully bizarre and visionary fantasy features Walter Huston as a glad-handing party hack and frivolous socialite who is elected President. A near-fatal auto accident and a visit from Archangel Gabriel transforms him into a "social activist". Discussion after the film.
