Creek to Bay Cleanup Day
Volunteer at a local "Creek to Bay Cleanup Day" site on Saturday, April 25th!
Help keep Chula Vista clean by participating in "Creek to Bay Cleanup Day" on Saturday, April 25, from 9 am to Noon. The Cleanup Day is an annual volunteer event - organized by I Love a Clean San Diego - to help remove trash from our region's watersheds and coastline. It is a great way for families, students, service groups, and neighbors to join together to show community pride, learn about the impacts of trash, and have fun!
Chula Vista cleanup sites include Bayfront Park (by the boat ramp), Bay Boulevard Park, Rice Canyon, and Sweetwater River. Register to volunteer online at http://www.creektobay.org (registration opens on April 1). If possible, bring a reusable water bottle, work gloves, and bucket to help cut down on waste.
