The Chula Vista Challenge Olympic Triathlon and Duathlon is a unique and challenging point-to-point race starting at Chula Vista’s Bayside Park, venturing inland on a picturesque course and finishing at Salt Creek Recreation Center in Eastlake (East Chula Vista, CA).

The open water swim takes place in the protected calm waters of the San Diego Bay. The bike takes athletes on a challenging ride east through the scenic hills of Eastlake, Chula Vista. The run takes you on a journey through the beautiful trails along Otay Lakes and through the USA Olympic Training Center. Athletes cross the finish line at Salt Creek Recreation Center.
