Following a public outreach process, the seven-member Chula Vista Redistricting Commission approved a Draft Redistricting Plan map at a public meeting on October 18. The draft map is now available for a 30-day public comment period. Changes to City Council district boundaries will be in effect for the 2022 City Council elections for council districts 1 and 2. Share your input with the Redistricting Commission on the Draft Redistricting Map. Visit this page for more information on how to share your comments with the commission. On November 18, the Commission will vote on a Recommended Redistricting Plan map to be submitted to the City Council on December 7, 2021.
