Chula Vista’s Norman Park Senior Center and Loma Verde Recreation Center were recently selected as the first two sites in San Diego County to host the University of California, San Diego, Peer Empowerment 4 Physical Activity (PEP4PA) research study.  Funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, the study tests the effectiveness and feasibility of a peer led physical activity program to improve the health of older adults. 

A free informational meeting will be held at the following locations and times Norman Park Senior Center, Cornell Hall, on Wednesday, September 16, at 1 p.m.
