The City of Chula Vista has set aside over $1 Million to help people buy their first home. Each family could qualify for up to $76,000 to use toward the down payment and/or closing costs on a home located in Chula Vista. This program can be combined with first mortgage loans and other programs like FHA, VA, CalHFA, conventional, and more.

Loan officers will be on site to meet with you one-on-one to determine if you’re mortgage ready, if you qualify for the Chula Vista down payment program, and what purchase price you can afford.
