Join us for a drag queen storytime at the library! Learn the history of drag while encouraging acceptance, being yourself, and loving who you are! Celebrate LGBTQ+ pride with stories, crafts, and dancing.
The Chula Vista Library is moving the Drag Queen Story Time to the Civic Center Library on F Street to accommodate the number of registrants. The event will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 4 p.m., 365 F St., Chula Vista, CA 91910.
The Chula Vista Public Library welcomes everyone, and programming at the City’s three libraries includes and reflects the diverse communities the libraries serve. Hosting drag queens to read and relate with children promotes reading and literacy and sends a positive message of acceptance and tolerance. The Drag Queen Storytimes is sponsored in partnership with San Diego Pride and South Bay Alliance.
Space still is available, but it is first come first serve. Additional parking is available at the free public parking garage on F Street (less than one-half block from the library), or at City Hall at 276 Fourth Avenue.
