City Manager

The City of Chula Vista operates under a 'Council-Manager' form of government meaning the City Council appoints a City Manager responsible for implementing all of the City Council's policy decisions and direction. The Administration Department, headed by the City Manager, includes one Assistant City Manager and two Deputy City Managers responsible for the proper administration of all affairs of the City, including day-to-day operations through the work of the various City departments.

Through leadership and direction to department heads and staff, the Administration Department ensures the efficient delivery of critical services to our community in alignment with the City's mission, values, and priorities.
