S-290 Intermediate Wildland Fire Behavior
This is a classroom-based skills course designed to prepare the prospective fireline supervisor to undertake safe and effective fire management operations. It is the second course in a series that collectively serves to develop fire behavior prediction knowledge and skills.
- Prerequisite: S-190 Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior
- Scanned copy of certificate will be requested when confirmed for the class.
- Maximum of 24 students, minimum of 20 students are needed 14 days prior to start date or it will be cancelled.
- Cost $350.00
- Students will be notified approximately one week prior to the start of class if the class is cancelled.
- Refunds will be processed at that time.

Registrants have sole responsibility to communicate event information to their agency supervisor / liaison.
Tuition is non-refundable if a cancellation by Student is received within 15 days prior to the class start date. Failure to appear for registered training (“No Show”) or cancellation within 10 days prior to the event, may impair ability to register for future training.
