The oratorio has been compared to Handel's Messiah and Mozart's Requiem, with its inspiring musical themes, powerful motifs, rich orchestration, and unique storytelling that is especially poignant during the Easter season.
Local and nationally acclaimed soloists including award-winning tenor George Dyer as Peter, local cello phenom Peter Ko as Jesus (cello), Candese M. Alexander as Mary Magdalene, Zane Camacho-Riddle as Thomas, Mackenna Rowley as Mary the Mother, Evan White as Pilate, Mei Kohler as Martha, and Taylor Holsinger as John.
