The fireground is evolving more than ever before. Evidence-Based Engine & Truck Operations examines best practices on the modern fire ground. Our incident priorities start with life; thus, getting water where it needs to go in a timely manner can allow you to be more aggressive in your search procedures. We can increase survivable space on the inside for everyone by getting water where it needs to go quickly. Using today's research and combining it with our experiences, we can improve our actions on the fireground greatly. This interactive class will discuss the facts and fiction when it comes to hose streams and the use from the interior or exterior positions. Finding a way to get inside as quickly as possible to search and isolate rooms increases survivability. Presenters will discuss tasks and tactics that can be used to be more efficient and effective in suppression, search and extinguishment. Using case studies paired with practical experience, this class will examine in detail over a decade UL-FSRI research and how it applies to the modern fireground. A must for all fire service professionals, learn from leading experts from across the nation.

Registrants have sole responsibility to communicate event information to their agency supervisor / liaison. Tuition is non-refundable if a cancellation by Student is received within 7 days prior to the class start date. Tuition reimbursement, Backfill and/or Overtime is at the discretion of each agency.
