As part of TitanBot's community outreach, we organize and host an annual Girls Inspiring Real Leadership in STEAM (G.I.R.L.S.) Conference, and in recent years have held it in conjunction with our school’s Society of Women Engineering Next (SWENext) club. You can learn more about TitanBot at titanbot.org
For our 9th annual G.I.R.L.S. Conference, we hope to engage 6th-12th grade students to “Shatter the Glass Ceiling”, and learn how to step into meaningful leadership roles and understand what their true potential is. Presentations will be given by professionals and students in various scientific and engineering fields, as well as a panel discussion to ask questions regarding their experience as women in STEAM. Networking opportunities will be available, offering an array of professionals from engineering organizations to help students work on their leadership skills in order to inspire youth to become the leaders of tomorrow.
This event will be held in a hybrid format, meaning we will have in-person attendance at our venue, but online attendance will also be available via a livestream on YouTube for your convenience. We highly recommend attending the in-person event as interactive games, raffles, prizes, and a free networking lunch will be available!
