Snapshot Cal Coast: Identify Coastal Plants and Animals Using iNaturalist

The Snapshot Cal Coast bioblitz is almost here! For the entire month of June, people are encouraged to join this statewide effort to document our coastal biodiversity. The San Diego Natural History Museum and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be leading an in-person event to record the biodiversity found at Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge.

No prior experience is necessary, but an RSVP is highly encouraged. Sign up by emailing Park Ranger Nancy Fernandez at Nancy_Fernandez@fws.gov.

Whether you are a seasoned naturalist or eager to explore, all you need is a sense of adventure, curiosity for nature, and a smartphone.
