The Chula Vista Proctor Valley Road area has inspired a broad range of supernatural legends, including “the monster” – a large, hairy, Bigfoot-type creature that is said to roam the wilderness – as well as other local stories of vanishing hitchhikers, ghostly apparitions, strange nighttime lights, UFOs, and even a “ghost car.” Join us for Tales of the Proctor Valley Monster, a free event for all ages, that will be performed at each of the three branches, with a Spanish-language version at South Branch!
This project was made possible in part by the City of Chula Vista’s Performing and Visual Arts Grant.
