In an effort to close the "digital divide" and ensure all community members have equitable access to the internet and computer resources, the City of Chula Vista offers technology training classes for residents and non-residents ages 50 years and older.
These weekly "one-on-one" training sessions can help participants learn how to install and use various smartphone apps, how to perform basic tasks on a computer, and how to use the internet to find information. Sessions are held at the Norman Park Senior Center and typically cost $10 for residents and $13 for non-residents.
For current information on classes and other technology training opportunities, visit the Chula Vista Recreation Department's online registration portal, or call the Norman Park Senior Center at (619) 409-1930.
