Historic Preservation Commission

ROLE AND FUNCTION
The Historic Preservation Commission works with the Advance Planning Division of Development Services Department. The Commission meets the certified local government requirements, as defined by the national Historic Preservation Act, and serves as the authority on historic preservation matters, advises the City Council and other City boards and commissions, as needed, on historic preservation matters as is mandated by Chula Vista Municipal Code Title 21, Historic Preservation.
