Role and Function                                               

Pursuant to the City of Chula Vista Charter § 600 and Municipal Code Chapter 2.44,the Traffic Safety Commission works in conjunction with the Engineering Department to conceive and develop ideas and suggestions to contribute to the improvement of personal, traffic or property safety within the City. 

The Commission is composed of seven members appointed to staggered four-year terms. As listed below, all terms expire on June 30th of the year. Click here to APPLY for the Commission
