Coronavirus COVID-19 UPDATE

The health and well-being of Chula Vista residents during the COVID-19 outbreak remains our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, and in accordance with State Guidelines issued regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, the City of Chula Vista will modify operations. Please note that FREBE evaluations are currently on pause due to the COVID-19 outbreak to limit risk to all.

As part of the Chula Vista business licensing process, all businesses with a storefront are required to participate in the Free Resource and Energy Business Evaluation (FREBE) program as outlined within Chula Vista Municipal Code Chapter 20.04. 

The FREBE program consists of an on-site evaluation, which is performed by City staff in about 15 minutes, to help you identify ways to reduce your energy and water costs. Set up your appointment by filling out the information below.
