The Parks & Recreation Master Plan is the guiding document for the City of Chula Vista’s parks and recreation system. It represents the City’s commitment to comprehensively respond to the park and recreation facility demands of the current and future residents and serves as the blueprint for future park development. As of January 2018, there are over 718 acres of existing parkland in the system with a potential to grow by over 500 additional acres.
