The City of Chula Vista (City) most recent drainage master plan effort was completed by PBS&J in February 2005. The purpose of the study was to analyze hydrologic impacts resulting from land use changes associated with the City’s General Plan, to provide an overall hydrologic analysis for existing backbone drainage infrastructure throughout the city, to identify existing drainage problems based on field survey during storm events and interviews with City maintenance and operations staff, to enhance the City’s storm water conveyance system database and to identify corrugated metal pipe (CMP) storm drain locations throughout the city.
The Drainage Master Plan includes the main report and figures for each basin. You may download a copy of the plan here.
