Working in tandem with other police staff, the Research, Crime and Intelligence Analysis Unit studies crime and disorder problems, helps identify ways of effectively addressing these problems, and assesses the impact of problem-solving initiatives. The unit also provides support to other department units in identifying and implementing best practices.
