Parking of recreational vehicles or trailers on public streets is prohibited at all times, except while in the process of actively loading or unloading, or by permit. See Chula Vista Municipal Code §10.52.495 for additional information.

The following information is required in order to issue a Recreational Vehicle / Trailer Permit.  Failure to provide complete information may result in permit denials and/or delays.

PLEASE NOTE: It may take up to 72 hours to process online permit applications. Permits purchased online will only be processed during normal business hours from Monday to Friday.  If approved, you will receive your permit via the email address provided below.  Please ensure the email account provided is accurate to avoid delays.

Chula Vista Municipal Code §10.52.495 requires proof of recreational vehicle ownership or recreational vehicle use or control.

Please provide proof of residency in the City of Chula Vista.  Typical forms of acceptable proof of residency include the following:

  • valid government issued identification
  • utility bill
  • rental or lease agreement
  • property tax statement

Additional forms may be accepted.  You must upload at least 1 document in order to apply, and may upload up to 4 documents.
