What is a Wireless Telecommunications Facility (Macro)?
A Wireless Telecommunications Facility (WTF) or macrocell facility consists of any commercial antenna, monopole, tower, microwave dish, conduits, fiber, and/or other related equipment (including software) necessary for the transmission and/or reception of cellular, personal communication service, and/or data radio communications.
A WTF permit is required in order to install these facilities in City property (e.g., parks, open space, etc) or in the City’s public right-of-way.
The WTF permit does not authorize the installation of these facilities in private property.
